Once again I have let the good ol' blog get way behind. We do have some good excuses though.... we have been busy soaking up the sun, traveling, visiting with family and having tons of fun while doing it. We have put our tents, strollers, flip flops and swim "soups" to good use. Here is some of the fun we have had over the last few weeks...

Nothing better than having a private pool in your backyard! They both are little fish who love to swim and Ella would be happy to wear her swim "soup" all day everyday!
In the end of May we had a quick trip to the cabin and Okie and Emma also joined us for the night. The kids love playing with their cousins and it is actually soooo much easier when the other kids are there because it gives Jack something to do besides pick on his sister. It's funny because Ella and Okie get along way better than Jack and Okie even though they are closer in age. Ella LOVES her "Cokey" and tries to do anything that he is doing. Of course this involves a lot of getting dirty so I gave her an impromptu bath in the "tub." She didn't mind that she only had 2 inches of water and that it wasn't very warm!

We tried to take a couple of pictures of the family because we don't get them taken very often... of course we failed at getting one of us all looking the same direction...
Another failure.... but I love them anyway...

Ella LOVES her Grandma Rosie and we call her Rosie jr. jr. She even insists on wearing the dumb sun visor like Grandma always wears!

Grandma Rosie and all the "little" grandkids which aren't quite so little anymore. I love how totally unprompted Emma is hugging Jack and Ella is hugging Okie. They are quite the team of trouble makers.

And no camping trip is complete without making some smores. Ella and Emma are both fans!

Memorial Day weekend we also headed off for the cabin. We convinced Ryan's family to tag along for a weekend of fun..... but, this is what we woke up to instead. SNOW!! We all decided to head home a day early!

Despite the freezing cold and rain and snow.... Jack still had a great time and was so excited that his Uncle Cory came camping with us!!
And last but not least... the FUNNEST thing we are working on this summer...
Potty TRAINING! I didn't think she was ready after the first failed attempt but she has pooped on the potty the last 3 days without an accident... so who knows... Ahh, the joys of being a parent!!
