We've got action down there.

A couple of days ago I thought I felt the baby moving but I wasn't sure. Today I am definately sure that the baby is moving all around. I was sitting here reading some crock pot recipes and getting hungry when I felt it and I continued to feel it for several minutes! I love when I can actually start feeling the baby squirming because it makes me feel reassured that they are doing okay!

We are going back for a second look tomorrow to see if she's still a girl! Keep your fingers crossed!
And not to leave out my cute little Jackers on this post, but I was about ready to send him to the orphanage by 10 am this morning. Ugggh.... I dressed him in a shirt that said "mommy's little monster" today and I guess he felt like he had to live up to it! We won't be wearing that shirt again anytime soon ...... just in case!

A Boy's Best Friend

This is actually a couple of weeks old but I loved it and haven't gotten around to posting it. I took Jack and Pax on a walk and Jack insisted on hanging on to the leash. Luckily Pax was very patient with him and let him THINK he was in charge.

I Got Tagged.............Thanks Gina!

Here are the rules:
Link to the person who tagged you
Post the rules on your blog
Write six random things about yourself
Tag six-ish people at the end of your post
Let each person know he/she has been tagged
Let the tagger know when your entry is up

1. My Mom is my best friend and I can tell her anything. Ryan says we are still attached at the umbilical cord.
2. I hate sleeping alone but Ryan can't touch me when I sleep or breath on me. This is intensified 100% when I'm pregnant. I have to put a barrier of blankets up so no breath accidently gets on me.
3. I don't like to eat red meat. I don't even like to buy it at the grocery store. Often I get big plans of buying a roast and cooking it, but at the store I just get freaked out and can't even make myself buy the meat.
4. I LOVE the holidays and always make fun plans for all of them, but by the time they get here I'm usually overly stressed out and make myself sick and don't even enjoy them.
5. I LOVE to watch reality tv much to Ryan's dismay. I'm still hooked on Survivor, America's Next Top Model, The Hills and The Amazing Race just to name a few. Thank heavens for Tivo so I can speed through all of them.
6. Hmmm....it's hard to come up with 6 things.... okay here's one more. When I was little I used to have baby lambs as pets and one day my weenie dog and my lamb ran away. They were gone for hours together and right before dark they came home. Random I know but luckily we didn't end up with any weenie lamb babies. (what else could they have been up to for 8 hours?)

I tag: Amber, Lynly, Amelia, Ainslee, Emily, Kenna

Hit the nail on the head......

I saw this on a friend's blog from high school and couldn't help but to post it. Even after 4 years Ryan still hasn't caught on to the meaning of these words so hopefully this will help you out baby!

1-Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
2-Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. 'Five minutes' is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.
3-Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with 'nothing' usually end in 'fine'.
4- Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!
5- Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about 'nothing'. (Refer back to # 3 for the meaning of 'nothing'.)
6- That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a woman can make to a man. 'That's okay' means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.
7-Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot' - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' ... that will bring on a 'whatever').
8-Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying 'SCREW YOU'!
9-Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to # 3.

I think the following picture fits perfectly with this post. Whatever he was doing he thinks is so funny and meanwhile I'm contemplating how i'm going to dispose of his body after I kill him!

But never fear.... moments later I loved him again!

Oh ya by the way..... these pictures were taken not long after we were married! I can't believe how young Ryan looks!

Brrrr.... it's cold outside!

Yesterday was FREEZING cold at our house but it didn 't stop all the kids from wanting to play outside. My sister was over with her little ones and Avery and Gavin were here to visit too. Jack and Avery wanted to play outside with the big kids so we bundled them all up and let them have at it! Avery didn't bring a jacket so she had to borrow Jack's cool Halloween skeleton (oh ya baby... it even glows in the dark) one and a cool camo bomber hat! I'm pretty sure her mother would have croaked at her outfit if she would have been here but Avery had a great time! After these pictures i'm positive Mistie will never send Avery without her own jacket again! After they were sufficiently frozen we let them all back in for some delicious homemade taco soup! We are pretty sure we are not ready for winter to be here because I don't know what we are going to do cooped up in the house all day long!

I love this picture of Jack and Avery. They are totally staring each other down! I'm pretty sure Jack wanted to beat her up for touching his tractor! And ya that is the tag still hanging off the top of Avery's cool camo hat!
After Jack came inside Daddy had to snuggle him up because he was literally freezing cold. I know I may be a bad mother but you TRY to tell a STUBBORN one year old he can't play outside with the other kids because it's cold!

Thankful Thursdays

Some person has been giving me guff about forgetting about Thankful Thursday. And just for her information.... Thursday wasn't over yet so here goes. Today i'm thankful that I finally got a little bit of energy back. This pregnancy has sucked every ounce out of me. Today though I finally felt like I could function without a nap and I actually got the house completely clean. Hopefully I will continue on with the burst of energy but if not I guess I will just be thankful that I had some today and was able to clean my house!
I know this picture has nothing to do with my post but I just want to remind everyone that this is the reason my house is filthy everyday. Yes he is eating marshmallows out of tupperware on the floor with a salad serving fork. And yes he pretty much gets whatever he wants!

Fun with Rylee

Tonight Jen, Nate and Rylee came over for dinner and to play. Jack hadn't seen Rylee for a long time so it was fun to get to play with her again! (hint hint Lynly!) She of course didn't waste anytime trying to hug and kiss her good friend Jack. They rode bikes, ate spaghetti, ran around, and rode Jack's elephant. Rylee couldn't wait for a turn on the elephant so she hopped on back with Jack. They had so much fun playing together and we hope Rylee can come back and play again soon! Oh ya and it was fun to have you guys over too Nate and Jen. Come back anytime!

Biker Dude

Who needs a Harley when you've got a crusty old Playskool bike from Grandma Rosie?

So my mom sent Jack home with this little bike and he loves it. I think it has been through all of her grandkids so that makes it about 14 years old. Despite it being sunfaded and a little crusty it has been a big hit at our house! It even replaced the broom today which is usually the favorite toy to play with! I love when Jack sees that I have a camera he instantly starts smiling. Do you think he gets his picture taken too often?

Pumpkins and Paint

Today we went to our friend Sydnee's first pumpkin patch birthday party at Wheeler Farm. Unfortunately today was the first day in a long time that it rained like crazy! They had to move the party inside the barn but we still had lots of fun! Jack loved all the pumpkins and balloons.

They had an awesome face painter and we couldn't wait to get Jack all painted up with a spider. Unfortunately after the first dot on his cheek he expressed that he didn't want his face painted.
Fortunately he did settle for letting us paint the spider on his arm. He sat very patiently while she painted him a spider.
This was our clue that party time was over and it was time to head home! Jack had a great time at the party and can't wait to play with all the kids again soon!
On the way to the car we decided to brave the rain and go feed the ducks really quickly.Jack wasn't too sure about the masses of ducks that completely swarmed us. We quickly ran out of muffins to feed them so we can't wait to go back with more when it's not raining! By the way that duck eating out of Jeff's hand also took a big chunk of Jeff's skin with his bite of muffin!

****SNEAK PEAK****

So last night we were able to go get a "sneak peek" at what our little bun in the oven is. It is official we are having......................

AN ALIEN!

But upon further review I think that we have come to the conclusion that it is a..............

GIRL! Now keep in mind that it is still really early to tell but we are pretty sure we didn't see any male parts in there! We checked at this same time with Jack and Avery (Mistie and I were due 4 days apart) and we guessed both of them correctly! So keep your fingers crossed and keep thinking PINK! The circled part in the picture, although a little blurry is what leads us to believe that we are having a girl! And if you have any great suggestions for girl names let me know or else we will be forced to go with Ryan's suggestion. If that is the case, meet little Maynerda!
