Apparently we lack in the manners department at dinner time!

Between the dog and Ella.... our dishes are sparkly clean!


I'm not quite sure why he is talking in a baby talk voice but watch until the end to see his fine dining display!

Some translation....
his name is not Jack RABBIT.... He is only 2.... He calls his sister Ella Bennett which is not her name either.... he loves to listen to Lady Gaga's Pokerface and how can you not love those sparkly blue eyes?

And I thought she WASN'T going to be a handful....

Boy was I wrong!

Ella and I were all ready to go to a birthday party when Jack woke up from his nap he needed a quick bath. I turned my back for two seconds and the little Missy jumps headfirst right into the tub! She didn't even cry and had the most mischievous grin I had ever seen!

Class Reunion

I was so excited to see everyone from high school ten years later but also I was kinda dreading it. Overall though I had a fantastic time and I am so thankful that I bucked up and went. We had a very small graduating class of around 70 people so we were all very close and it was fun to see what everyone was up to. Ryan even enjoyed himself which was a pure shock to me. I dare say he might have had more fun at my class reunion than I did!
It was a busy fun weekend and I am so glad I was able to reconnect with some of my favorite people from growing up! We had a formal dinner Friday night, rode in the town parade on Saturday and then had a BBQ with all of our families. Although not too many people were able to make it to the festivities it was still a great time and I can't wait to see where everyone is ten years from now!

FOURTH OF JULY

We had a very low key Fourth of July this year. We actually didn't do any celebrating until the Fifth of July because the boys were out of town camping! We did some swimming and then made some last minute festive cupcakes and had a bbq with Jen and Nate. We also had to buy a few fireworks for Jack to set off because we missed all of the bigger city ones the night before because the boys were camping! They were oh so lame but Jack thought they were the coolest things he had ever seen!



Once again I was a slacker and got NO good pictures!

Brackenbury-Durfee Reunion

I'm really behind on blogging so we have to back up just a bit!

In the end of June we were able to go to the annual family get together in Idaho. Once again it was at Porcupine Springs and once again we had a FAB-U-LOUS time! Looking back at the very few pictures I actually took of the weekend I was surprised that I had not ONE of Jack! Oh well, we all know he is cute and he was definately smothered in dirt from head to toe all weekend long so just use your imagination!

And last but not least.... My little Ella... who now by the way.... CAN FINALLY WALK! It only took 15 months but she can now do it!!

Camping

Last weekend the boys went camping while Ella and I went to Idaho. Well... the boys went camping with a little help from Grandma, Aunt Julie, and Aunt Jenny. Jack had so much fun and can't wait to go again. He is such a spoiled little turkey!

I tried desperately to get a good picture to give out for Father's Day. Out of about 50 pictures and with a little help from PhotoShop.... I finally came out with one acceptable one! It was definitely TOO much to ask to have them both looking the same way and to have one not be punching the other one!

Happy Oh so LATE Father's Day!

I know it's long since past but I just wanted to be sure and wish all the great Dad's in our life a very Happy Father's Day! I hope it was a great one that was spent with all the people you love! It was a special treat this year because my birthday was on Father's Day so Ryan and I both got to feel special for the day although, it did kinda suck that I couldn't be lazy all day and use the excuse that it was my birthday since it was also Ryan's day!! Good thing there is always next year to use that excuse!

My kids are SOOOO lucky that they have such a great father that actually ENJOYS spending time with them! They love him so much and you can't even imagine the squeals of delight that I hear every day when Ryan walks in the door from work. Maybe someday they will get excited to see me too!
