Fun in the Sun - In October?

Middle of October and it was still warm enough to play outside with the hose! Jack has been in heaven with all of the warm weather!

Sneak Peak #2

This quite possibly could be what our little girl will look like! Ryan was out of town again and Shawnae and I couldn't resist seeing what our little girl would look like! Isn't he so adorable? Don't worry he only wore it for about 2 seconds before he ripped it off and began terrorizing the house again!

Night Out Bowling

I think Jack inherited his bowling skills from his mom!

Ryan's family called and invited us to go bowling and since we haven't been in forever we were excited to go. We decided to make it a date and went to Cafe Rio for dinner on the way and it was delicious! We got to the bowling alley and got started playing right away. Luckily Grandma Annette didn't want to bowl so Jack kept her busy playing video games and running all over the place. Unfortunately I am probably the worst bowler in the world and we got stuck playing with Jon and Julie who bowl really well and made me look even worse! Thanks guys! :) Just kidding- we had a great time and can't wait to do something with everyone again!

Jen and Nate enjoying a little greasy bowling alley food and enjoying the game!

Jon patiently waiting for his next turn to throw a strike! Notice Jack in the background trying to get all the bowling balls down.

Way to go Ry - Look at that form! Just for the record he didn't beat me by too much!Grandma Annette, Jack and Aunt Jen.

Don't you just love Cory's "i'm so excited to be hanging out with my family" face!

Oops!

Just in case anyone was wondering this is what your dryer will look like after you accidently dry a pen and it explodes. And please ignore our new "ink spotty" fashion trend since a whole dryer load of our wardrobes are now sporting it!

Halloween Party

This last weekend we headed to Idaho for my Mom's annual Halloween party. I dressed as Snow White and Jack and Ryan were my dwarfs. It is always a ton of fun and all the kids look forward to it every year. Jack was scared to go into the party because it was all decorated and he is a little - okay a lot afraid of Halloween. Luckily once all of the kids were there he wasn't scared anymore. Several times I found him over in the corner with the big boys playing and eating. I'm not sure how much candy or dirt he inhaled during the evening but he was having a great time. One of the games was that whenever the song "The Monster Mash" would come on everyone would have to get up and dance for a prize. During one of the songs Jack was just walking all around until he noticed everyone was dancing and he started busting out a move. It was too cute. Also as I was trying to play a game with the kids I was telling them to all sit down and scoot back from the candy bucket so we could play the game. I looked down as I was yelling at all of them to stay out of the candy and there is Jack head first bent over digging through the candy bucket. All I could do was laugh! Unfortunately I didn't get too many pictures because somebody (we won't mention names - but it wasn't me!) forgot to bring extra batteries for the camera! My little Dwarfs. Don't look too hard at their costumes. They were made the night before the party out of only fabric and safety pins! Perhaps I should invest in a sewing machine before next Halloween!

Jack and Taylor just hanging out at the party! The little stinker wouldn't keep his hat on!

All of Rosie's grandkids and kids (plus 2 extra)!

JACK O' Lantern Time

Tonight we decided we had better carve out our Jack o' Lantern. Halloween will be here before we know it! Jack wasn't all that interested except for when it came time to play in all the pumpkin goo we had cleaned out! Jack sure thought it was funny when Ryan tried to stick him into the pumpkin, luckily Jack's big head didn't even get close to fitting!

Jack and Daddy taking a break and posing for the camera. My sweet little monster!

Ryan was angry because he thought I cut the hole on the top too small.
Jack was more interested in his balloon that in the pumpkin carving.

Since Jack wasn't interested in our pumpkin carving adventure we had to took a picture of ourselves enjoying it! The finished product. He really didn't like it when we turned out the lights and lit the "spooky" up!

Barnyard BOO

Today we decided to venture out to the farm at Thanksgiving Point. When we got there we were surprised to find out that they were celebrating Barnyard Boo today. This meant a ton of people there but also lots of fun things to do! We started off with getting all of their faces painted. Jack surprisingly sat very still and let the lady paint his face this time! They all looked so cute with their faces painted but not surprisingly it wasn't long before Jack had eaten, smeared with a little dirt and ruined most of his painting. But oh well it was cute while it lasted! They all loved going on the wagon ride with the horses and I think their favorite part could have been lunch time. The little chubbies inhaled almost everything we put in front of them! Rylee and Jack took a spin on the horses and Jack loved that as usual. They had a lot of fun but by the time we were leaving Jack was melting. We didn't even get a block down the road before he was fast asleep! It was such a beautiful fall day and I'm glad we got to have a little bit more fun outside with our friends before it gets too cold!

Jack and the clown who made him a cool balloon sword.
Right before I had to confiscate Jack's sword because he wouldn't quit biting it!
Olivia and Jack enjoying a little lunch!
He loves riding the horses and kept trying to butt in line by going under the fence!
He sure was tuckered out as soon as we got in the car!

Being such a big boy while getting his face painted. Or maybe he was only being nice because this time he was strapped in his stroller!
He isn't one bit afraid of any of the animals and really gets a thrill from sticking his fingers up their noses.

Rylee and Jack being forced to pose together by the cow! All the little monsters on the wagon ride. Avery, Olivia, Rylee and Jack

Jack's getting a SISTER!

Last night we went in for another ultrasound and she is definately still looking like a girl! I'm so excited! I can only imagine what kind of mischief her and big brother Jack will get into together! She was busy waving to us and was curled into the tightest little ball. She was actually kicking her forehead with her feet - How comfortable could that be? Right as we were ready to be done with the ultrasound, she yawned. It was so cool that you could actually see her yawning. Apparently she was bored with us and wanted us to leave her alone. Okay enough with all the details, the important thing is that it's a GIRL!

Work it baby............

Tonight we ventured out on our bikes for probably one of our last rides of the season. I was freezing by the time we got home! I took my camera along so we tried to catch a few cute pictures of the little man. He is so not cooperative when I try to make him be my little model. Oh well, I think we got a few good ones and I will always be able to look back and remember this photo shoot and what a little stinker he was. He did however LOVE throwing rocks into the pond with his dad. We are so lucky to have such a beautiful view out our back windows and to have such a great place to go ride bikes and play right behind our house!

And here is exactly why it is so hard to get a good picture:
