We just wanted to take a minute to tell everyone how much we love our Momma's! We are so thankful that we have such great Moms who would do anything for us! Jack is also so lucky to have Grandmas that love him so much (hence he's a little spoiled!). We love you and hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!

Five Generations.... Jack's Great Great Grandma Ivory, Great Grandma Frisby, Grandma Paxman, Daddy Ryan and of course... Baby Jack on his blessing day!
Friday was a no good really bad day! It started out okay and we met Mistie, Avery, Lynly, Rylee, Becca, and Olivia at the pool! We were having fun watching the kids play while we sat back and gossiped away when poor little Rylee slipped and hit her head and went under the water! Lynly like a flash of lightning was up and scooping Rylee up out of the water. When she pulled her up she was bleeding down the side of her head! She had cut a big gash on the side of her head by her eye! Needless to say our swimming playdate was ruined and poor little Rylee had to go see if she needed stitches! We headed home had naps and pretty soon Ryan was home. When I got Jack out of his crib he had a scratch down the front of his head. I'm pretty sure besides the fact I had just clipped his nails the day before that he scratched himself with his nails! So Ryan and Jack headed downstairs and sat down on the living room floor to play like we have done a million times. Pretty soon I hear this loudest cracking sound and I look over and Jack has fell over head first from sitting position (I don't know how he accomplished this) and hit his head on the iron rod part under our coffee table! He screamed and screamed and immediately we had a big goose egg growing on his forhead! We sat him on the kitchen counter and I grabbed some ice to hold on his head. Of course he didn't like this plan but as soon as I gave him my sunglasses to play with (a big no no around our house) he was pretty much over the owie. He sat so patiently while I held ice on his head and was actually in good spirits despite the bad fall! I know we will have accidents a million times worse than this one but I sure didn't like my little munchkin being hurt!
I love that he can still muster out a smile!

5 years ago: wow I can't even remember what I was doing 5 years ago! Okay actually I was working as a nanny in Draper and loving it! I also went to Nantucket that summer and worked at Pinwheels with my good friends Melissa and Katarina! I think that was the summer Mistie and I drove my Jeep Wrangler cross country in 2.5 days (Idaho to Mass.) I can't even remember driving through Pennsylvania in the middle of the night! (Scary thought but that's what a lot of caffeine and energy pills can do for you!) I was in the middle of the worst relationship of my life! (thank goodness I smartened up and got out of that one!)
5 Months ago: I was just loving every minute of my life with my new little man! Extremely thankful that I didn't have to go back to work! Got so very sick during Christmas time and it really sucked! I missed enjoying my baby's first Christmas because I could hardly even sit up! My parents came and stayed with us over the Christmas holiday which we really enjoyed and my stepdad Lee did a lot of home improvement projects for us which I enjoyed even more!

1. Buy an outfit for Jenny and Nate's wedding! ( I love shopping with Jack and Emma... ha ha)
2. Clean my house (beg Ryan to help me)
3. Get groceries so we don't eat sandwiches for the 3rd day in a row!
4. Mail Mother's Day cards
5. Play with Jack

Jack and his dog Pax are best friends! Well actually Jack loves Pax but Pax secretly wishes Jack would go back to where he came from! Before Jack was born Pax was our baby! He was and still is spoiled ROTTEN. Whenever he sees Jack coming he hurries and gets on the couch so that Jack can't pull his hair! We are positive that when Jack finally learns to throw the ball for Pax then they will be the best of buddies!
As you can see from this picture Jack hasn't quite learned the meaning of gentle!
So before I had Jack I rarely ever had a headache or a migraine. Now after carrying my little pumpkin around for 9 months I pretty much have a headache every day! The little turkey pretty much ruined my body but he was well worth it! Well last night I started having a bit of a headache while we were at Ryan's parents house but wasn't feeling too bad. Around 2 am I woke up with the worst migraine I think i've ever had! After crying, bathing, throwing up, and just plain being miserable I finally fell back asleep at around 5 am. It was a terrible night and I hope I don't have to repeat that any time soon! I still wasn't feeling well this morning so my loving husband took the morning off to take care of Jack and I which was very appreciated! So for those of you who don't have migraines.... count your blessings!
So this time last year a whole group of us were preparing for our trip to Mexico. Thinking about how much fun we had is making me want to go back really bad! Well okay it was making me want to go back really bad until yesterday I heard on the news that someone got ate by a SHARK pretty much right where we stayed! Okay I still do want to go back and I guess if I do get eaten by a shark at least i'll die enjoying myself!
The whole gang- minus Mistie- she was probably in the bathroom - since we both were 7 months pregnant we spent a lot of our time there this vacation!

Some highlights from our trip:
Going to the Bodega (mexican version of Wal-Mart) and being the only white people in the ENTIRE store!
Ryan accidently going into the womens bathroom at the Ixtapa airport and all the little mexican girls laughing at him!
Being fat and pregnant and our condo being on the 6th floor with no elevator in the 100 degree heat!
Accidently seeing Duane stark naked! My eyes will never be the same!
Ryan continuing to say Hola for months even after we returned home!
