Cassia County Fair

Jack and I ventured up to Idaho to partake in the annual fair festivities. Coming from such a small town the annual fair and rodeo is big news. Everyone comes out of the woodwork to partake of the good food and to catch up with old friends. We started off the fair week with the parade. My dad had a float in the parade for his campaign and some of the grandkids were riding on it and of course Jack wanted to take part. He loved riding in something and not having to be in his carseat! He thought he was really getting away with something big! He quickly learned how to wave from watching the other kids on the float and spent most of the ride waving to everyone!
We went to the fair the next day with my nieces and nephew and ate some delicious maple bars, snow cones, hamburgers and fresh lemonade. We were all stuffed and sweltering in the heat but we had to stick around to catch the hypnotist show. The kids had never seen one and I thought they would enjoy it so we wasted some time looking at all the animals and watching some "great" entertainment on the free stage.
The hypnotist show was no disappointment and Colton kept asking "are they just pretending" I'm not sure if they were or not but if they were they did a pretty good job! By the time we were leaving we were all pooped but had a fun day at the good old fair!
Oh ya and we ventured back that same night with Grandma and Grandpa and enjoyed more fair food and I was so excited to run into my friends Mistie and Karla from school! It was so good to see them and see their cute little kids!
