Cassia Fair

I'm totally playing catch up so these are from awhile ago but we were able to head to Idaho for the Cassia County fair. Ryan was able to join us and we had a great weekend. Mandy and the kids also came for the weekend so it was a full house at my mom's but we had a great time. We spent several days at the fair a couple of which we nearly froze our bums off. It got so cold at night and once again we weren't prepared. Saturday before we headed back into the fair we swung by the mall to get some warmer clothes so we wouldn't freeze that night! We gorged ourselves on scones, maple bars, sno cones, fried twinkies and oreo's, kettle corn, hamburgers, corn, nachos.... you name it and we probably ate it. Ryan ate twice his weight in food at the fair and I think he may have spent our entire monthly grocery budget there but we had a great time and surprisingly no one came home with a belly ache. We enjoyed watching Mandy get hypnotized and running into a few old friends from growing up. We did have a not so great experience when we were almost trampled by a 1500lb steer that had gotten away when we first got there. It was a very scary experience and i'm just thankful nobody got hurt! We had a great time at the fair and can't wait for next year!
